Hello,

I'm getting new rotors for my 1994 F-250 and I was wondering if I need to resurface my rotors after I attach them to the automatic locking hubs. I've heard this is necessary because the hub surface isn't always flat. I have a wire wheel that I could use to get all of the rust off with but I'm not sure if the unevenness is more than just surface contaminants.

I would prefer to not have to resurface them because I'm going to need my truck very soon and I'm planning on having it done by tomorrow.

My other question is: Is a nail set a good enough thing to pound studs in with?
Thank you for your help.
