5.4L Ford Engine for swapping

Hi everyone:

I have this 5.4l 2005 Ford Engine and trans out of a Expedition. I have been troubled finding out to make it run out of the chassis. I believe I have to flash the ECU? or I need a new simplified harness (I can't find).

Any help appreciated.

Does it still have a PATS enabled Ecu? If it does that would be where i would start.

And while you have it out put 1 piece spark plugs in NOW.

04-05 is when many things began to change towards the bullshit the new stuff comes with. ford needs to go choke on a giant dick.....when it wakes up maybe it will come to its senses.


if you have the whole truck start with the evtm's. call some tuners and see what they can do with your particular system and build the wiring to that capacity if it is acceptable to you.


otherwise the aftermarket systems are ideal.
