Hello all. I am installing a 350 in a 52 M38. With the weight of the motor on the mounts I loose all front axle clearance and front driveshaft clearance. Can I just install new springs or is there a better solution?? Thanks in advance for suggestions!!! Jimmy

when I built my M38 back in the early 90's I used the Rancho 2.5 inch springs with my SBC install. They were top of the line off road springs then. I cant believe how rough they rode! But they did hold the weight.:shaking:

Random question- what transmission are you using? SBC is marginally heavier than a factory Willys engine. It shouldn't have sagged you that much. Were the springs flat before you began?
