Can any of you tell me what besides the 66-77 Bronco has the 58" ford 9" in it.

Also, what years of the EB 9" had the big bearings?

I believe 1977-1981 Granada/Versailles do. I'm not sure the particular differences, if any, between the 9s.

Big bearings were optional for any year EB, depending on what GVW was ordered. More common on the later ones. 74-75 also had the "Torino" ends, which are big bearing, but smaller backing plate bolt pattern.
All 76-77 were big bearing. One thing to look at is brake diameter. Small bearings had 10" drums, big bearing had 11". The exception is the 74-75 medium duty axle, which was big bearing with small brakes.

Just my $.02, but due to the fact the Mustang guys kill for the EB 9" axles, why not just get a 77-86 Ford 9" with the broad, gusseted housing and then narrow it to whatever width you want. All of the EB came with weaker 28 spline axle shafts, including the big-bearing housings, whereas you can get 31 splines all day from under 1977+ 2WD/4WD F150/E150's for a lot less money.

I would have to buy aftermarket shafts because I need a 6x5.5.

I might just get a full size housing and cut it down but the 58" is exactly what I need.

This is the info I have been working from:

Code Weight Rating Ratio Type (Locking really = Limited Slip, not a real locker)
A3 2780/2900* 4.11 Locking
A4 2780 4.57 Locking
A5 3300 4.11 Locking
A6 3300 4.57 Locking
B8 2780/2900* 3.50 Locking
B9 3300 3.50 Locking
03 2780/2900* 4.11 Non-Locking
04 2780 4.57 Non-Locking
05 3300 4.11 Non-Locking
06 3300 4.57 Non-Locking
08 3300 3.50 Non-Locking
18 2780/2900* 3.50 Non-Locking
19 3300 3.50 Non-Locking

* 2900 lb axle replaced 2780 lb axle for 1976-1977
3300 lb axle = large bearing
2780 lb axle = small bearing
