If so, any problems or malfunctions? The only ones I have found are 2 piece setups. I swapped in a 14 bolt rear a while back and have been running 6 lug front 8 lug rear hummer wheels since then. I would like to go 8 lug up front to have a common spare and also to free up the front 2 6lug humv wheels so I can sell as a set of 4. I am already running a pair of 1.5'' spacers up front so that wouldnt change by more than .5'' or so if I did run new adapters.
Are there other not so expensive options to keep cruiser front axle and have 8 lug pattern?

IMO, hell no ,those look hokey.

Mudrak ran some on his front last year I think, check with him. Mudrak.com, his old ones are prolly for sale since the new front axle went in.

The 60 is sitting on an axle stand patiently waiting on me to build a tube buggy to put it under. I already have the vortec, nad am slowly acquiring parts and pieces. I am leaning toward keeping the cruiser axle up front for that reason. If I were to throw the 60 under the front I would link the front and need to regear the rear to match it. I would rather save the $$ for doing this stuff to a buggy (at least that is the plan this week, subject to change without notice)

If you wanted to stay 6 lug:
Swap the rear out for a heavy 1/2 ton or light 3/4 ton chevy rear. 90's 4wd and up. Not sure what your intentions are I guess.

I get the impression you want to keep the 8 lug wheels though. Just thought I'd put the idea out there.

I think I am gonna stay with the ff 14 bolt. I already have the disc brakes done on it and it has the 4.56 gears and detroit.The wheel adapters seem to be the simple way to get through this.

Gary at Mudrak referred me to Marlin. Marlins referred me to mc motorsports in Ca. They have them for $250 EACH They proud of their shit.

so go the other route, have the toyota hubs filled and drilled.

That aint a bad idea. I'm a go out there and see if there is enough metal on the hub to safely drill 8 on 6.5 pattern.

I measured the hub and I think it would leave about 1/8'' of metal or less on the outside of the bolt holes if I drilled it to 8 on 6.5 pattern. That doesnt exactly leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Another option I am looking at is making a 8 bolt flange and welding it on the hub about 1.5'' further out than the stock wheel mount surface. That would eliminate a spacer and keep total width the same. Anyone ever seen this done before?Thoughts ?

I may see if this company will sell as a pair rather than all 4. If all of my options are too expensive, I will just keep 2 spares on the trailer.

A friend of miine is running a set of 8 to 6 lug adapters. The are a two-piece desiign though

2 piece style is all I have found. These 2 bolt patterns interfere with each other no matter what. Wilson, do you know what vendor he got them from and if he has had any issues with them ?

I can ask where he got them from. I calll them janky, but he thinks they'll hold up. They are hub-centric, so the bolts/studs aren't bearing all of the load. He's only got one run on them, but is turning 54" boggers, no problems yet.

Okay, what six lug axle can deal with 54" boggers??

The same as my 5 lug axle :flipoff2: Don't let the # of lugs fool you. Rockcrusher D60. "Hold up" is relative I guess, but with 70 furious carb'd squirrels and a rediculous amount of gearing, it should hold up in the snow (where he plans to run those tires) they chunk out too easy on the rocks.
