['85 XTRA-PIG]

Does any one know how far forward I should move the front spring mount when using the 62" Chevy 1/2-tons in the rear? I'm using Jeep Wrangler mounts and I've come up with a couple different measurments and I'm not quite sure where my axle will end up. <IMG SRC="smilies/idea.gif" border="0">

I don't think anyone here has done that swap.

search doesn't bring anything up.

I moved mine 11.25 inches forward CE to CE. The springs were 63" long. 11.5 would center it.

What year rig are you talking about?? That also makes a difference.

I did them on my 84 ex cab ..move them mount right under the farthest farward bed mount post.
