I have a 92', and was wondering where you guys that run this body style put your mount for the chevy's? I measured, and came up with about 9.5" from eye to eye forward of the original mount.

i haven't heard anything about that.

i guess the best thing to do is see where the springs put the center of your axel and measure and put you spring mounts where it is center. you may have to move you shakles back as well?

sorry man!

Thanks guys. But is anybody running this setup? I would just like a confirmation on my measurements. I'm also going to use a 8" single shackle in the rear. It looks as if this will all work. (spring mount 9.5" forward of origingal mount eye to eye, with a 8" shackle from the stock shackle mount.)
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

i think it would be alot better if you ran a 6" dual shackle setup for more droop. and add a rancho 2" lift soft add-a-leaf. that is the setup i plan on running on my 94.

I've got the chevys on a '90 and I put the front hanger 8" forward. This moved the axle back 1/2" so it was centered in the wheel well. Right now I have a 6" shakle on the back, soon to be replaced with a double shakle.

So you put the hanger 8" forward eye to eye, right?
