I'd go electric fuel just to get that crap out of the valley. Probably going to need a better HPOP unless yours is really strong.

Run a tymar style filter instead of the K&N. Go to napa and get the baldwin filter (can't remember the number) and get a 45 degree 4" elbow from an exhaust shop.

If he is doing a 38R, I just assumed he had a 99.5 and up with the electric fuel from the factory.

Shit... I didn't even think about the year. I have a 95 powerstroke so I just thought mechanical fuel pump off the top of my head! :homer:
