Hi all,

I've got a 77 F250 highboy 4x4 that has been through too many PA winters and I'm looking at a 1979 F150 2x4 to do a body swap with. I've read that my truck has a narrower frame, being the highboy, but I've never been able to confirm this. What sort of problems am I looking at for swaping a 79 150 body onto a 77 250 frame and running gear? Also, would a F100 work or are there going to be other differences as well?

Sorry for the basic questions, but I don't really know much about my truck, never really had to do much on it before.

Bump, Sorry, but with search down, this info is hard to come by. I'm thinking about buying this truck and having it shipped up to me but the auction ends shortly and the last thing I want to do is have it show up here to discover it won't work... Any help?
