I am thinking about picking up a set of Mini knuckles for my 78. I just rebuilt my axle like 6 months ago and is has not run at all. If I get the mini knuckles, (I'm doing so for Hy-steer options), do all of my 78 cruiser parts just bolt right up - esp. my 78 disc brakes? Also, does anyone know who makes a good rear axle disc swap for a 78 cruiser rear. I am tired of messing with brakes all the time and want to go discs all around. Also, how about ebrake on said rear discs? Thanks- Keith

thanks - I had forgotten about the lower bearing caps having a different pattern also. I am thinking about doing this to the axle and picking up Marlins Hy-Steer. I found a guy in CA that has a set of knuckles for 65 shipped to KY. Is this a good deal? Does anybody have a better one? I have been having some brake problems and I am wanting to switch to the discs. I think that I can have a friend machine the rotors, and I have a great hook up at a local parts counter, and I think I can get the GM parts cheaper there than having them shipped in. Another question, what about the MC and booster? If I were to go to OEM Discs front, and GM discs w/E-brake, what would be the suggested way to go with M/C and booster? I have had zero luck with getting a firm pedal after new front calipers, SS extended lines, and new shoes and pads all around, and I am begining to think about replacing the last 2 pieces in the puzzle. I have heard and searched and there seems to be many options, both GM and Toy, but with my proposed set up on a SOA that's already done and sitting on 35's with a 2F, what would be your opinion? Thanks and Happy Holidays-

Keith
