Owned since 2004 and really built her up about 10 years ago, but with work and kids, I just don't get to use her. She's a good rig, just needs some finishing touches and a little TLC to make her great.

  • Engine
  • Stock 4.0L I6

  • Runs great

  • Transmission
  • Stock Manual NV3550
  • The Novak Guide to the Jeep NVG 3550 Transmission
  • Replaced under warranty around 60,000 or 70,000 (bad synchros?)
  • Jeep dealer said it was cheaper for them to replace under warranty than fix

  • Transfer Case
  • Updgraded from 2005 Automatic Rubicon
  • NVG241OR Rock Trac
  • The Novak Guide to the New Process / NVG 241OR RockTrac Transfer Case

  • Front Suspension
  • 4” lift coils
  • Custom Long-arm 3-link suspension with trac bar
  • I would lengthen the upper link by 1” and move the trac bar frame mount forward about 3-inches. This will allow you to dial in the front suspension better. Right now, the upper link mount on the axle will hit the trac bar mount of adjusted correctly.
  • Frame and axle brackets by Ballistic Fabrication
  • High quality parts for fabricators and off-road enthusiasts
  • Bilstein 5100 shocks
  • BILSTEIN Corporate - BILSTEIN
  • I would add limit straps so the shocks are not limiting factor

  • Rear Suspension
  • 4” Lift Coils
  • Custom Long-Arm triangulated 4-link
  • No track bar
  • Frame and axle brackets by Ballistic Fabrication
  • High quality parts for fabricators and off-road enthusiasts
  • Bilstein 5100 shocks
  • BILSTEIN Corporate - BILSTEIN
  • Custom “Frenched” shock mounts allow for longer shocks and keep them out of wheel travel
  • I would add limit straps so the shocks are not limiting factor
