I just thought I would check with you guys first before, I post my 8.8 on the for sale board.
It has 4.56 gears, detroit, Superior High strength shafts, 5 on 5 1/2" adapters and is set up for SOA.
To be honest it has been rode hard and put away wet, but everything but the E brakes still works great.

Again I dont want to piss off any of our numerouse moderators, but since this is primarily a Jeep swapped axle, I thought I would let the Jeepers have 1st shot, Ill post it on the for sale board on Monday, Itll go fast, Im not asking a ton of cash for it.

Oh yeah, got an anti wrap bar mounting bracket(for the 8.8) and anti wrap bar.
(5) 15x10 5 on 5 1/2" MRT Beadlocks also

Im almost 100 percent sure he is sticking a 14 bolt in its place.. I think I remember hearing thatm, and heck, Id do the same thing If I was running the same kinda power he's running now!

Yup, swapping in a shaved 14 bolt with disc brakes. The 8.8 has been a great axle for me, but I need a wider axle, and something that can handle the 38.50 tires and V8, without question.

Still awake eh? Get my PM? Dude, Ive always wanted to ask you but never got around to it.. how much HP an Torque do you estimate the rig has now? And when is the CalRocs event you are going to?

I sent you an E mail.
The 5.0 is running very strong, and is awsome as Jeep engine, since I cammed it down a bit. I had it Dyno'd at a shop outside Vegas Speedway. It was at about 270 hp, and 325ft/lb torque(at the wheels) at about 3200 rpms. It is really strong though, and controllable from about 800 to 1700 rpms. It runs so strong off of idle that I actually get better gas mileage on the trail, than the 4 cylinder I was running last year.
Oh yeah, CalRocs, is next month the 17-18.

Thats for sale 2, I am keeping the front goofy shackle and cross member, but the rear bolt on bracket and wrap bar are good to go.
I should have made templates of all the mounting bracket pieces, it is a sweet set up. Ill let it go for $125 all youll need is a shackle and cross member.

$90 each, thats 1/2 of what they sell for.
They are MRT black daytona, 15x10 5 on 5 1/2" with 3" backspacing. They are the 18 bolt version. the rings are a bit scratched up, but they are still true, and I have fresh grade 8 bolts on them. Ive got 5 of em

unfortunatly due to budget constraints (i.e, not enough room on the credit card LOL) I can't afford to buy the axle at this time <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> Sorry.. Its perfect for me though. If you still have it when my auto tranny swap is done, I'll buy it in a heartbeat! Thanks,

Wish I knew you were gonna sell it before I went out a bought one lol, woulda saved me
some $$ in the long run.
