Hi,
I’m hoping somone can help me. I have a 83 Ford Bronco with just 92k original miles. It’s in great shape and I love it. It was parked infront of my house and a drunk driver hit it.
The damage is $3700, but my insurance (AAA) wants to total the Bronco at $1,900. I don’t think that is a fair price since I was recently offered $4500 for it.
So I must make a case to the insurance that it is a classic car and not just old. Can you tell me where I can find some resources to show the real value of this great old Bronco? Any advise would be very appreciated.
Thanks, Lynn

Yep. Plastic dash = not a classic.

Ask for $2500 if it was real nice and be happy you got that.

Sadly, if you were offered 4500$ you should of sold it.
but look for a few like yours in your area to show them the value.
Out here, you can pick up an 80-85 bronco for 500-1000 in really good shape.

you need to search the auto trader and show them that there are comparable vehicles in the higher price range. you can also collect from the persons insurance that hit you if they had any, They are vernerable right now because their driver was in the wrong.you might go that way good luck.
