Still need a new alt, caliper, rotor, and the motor sounds funny right now

CB and heater will go on top of the stereo, cig lighter to the right of the stereo. Dummy lights and blinkers between tach n dash.

all autometer, sunpro ha ha

phantom and sport-comp

Most off of e-bay, dunno on the cost but atleast $300, tach alone was $100 (it was new), the fuel pressure guage is supposed to be mounted outside but I got the oil pressure, water temp, ammeter, voltmeter, tach, speedo, and fuel gauge are there though

now alls you need in your cockpit is a couple rows of switches and you'll be ready for take off. Then when someone asks about "that switch" you can say, " guns, missles,go switch, but whatever you do NEVER, NEVER, touch THAT switch" and give an evil smile.

No wonder why I cant get any off eBay!!

Just kidding, B........

I've been wanting to do something similar on my 80, and have been checking ebay for gauges.......

Nice Job!

I just want to redo the cluster, and leave the dash as original as possible.....
My stereo and CB will be going in my between-the-seats console, so it will open up the stereo slot for switches......Thats why I bought that under-dash console from you....Mine is cut up, but I still wanted one. It will help maintain that "Toyota character", and take care of space for two of my gauges.......

Cant wait to see pics of yours when its done!

are you going to use the stock heater contols or something else? I tried to do something similar with mine and had a bunch of problems bolting the stock controls to the sheetmetal.

when I put the motor in I took the harness in the house and removed everything from the computer out leaving blinker, accesories, etc. For some reason when I plugged in the stock gauges "some" worked LOL. Luckily all the functions work, just not the gauges so my brake lights, blinker, windshield wipers, etc. are all working..

Soo rather than fight that I decided to go full custom

Take some steel wool to it for the "brushed" look. Not as reflective. Even painting it will give it a shine and reflect the sun unless you do it in satin or flat.
