got a good deal on the engine, comes complete with wiring harness, computer
Should i assume it would be the same as a 88 cherokee to 88 yj swap?
Any info appreciated
both have peugeots
and id have to get the fuel pump

I have a 88 4.0 in my 81CJ7.For the most part the swap will be the same. The most difficult part is grafting the bulkhead cnctr from the 88 harness to the bulkhead in your yj. I did not use an aftermarkeh harness for this swap. The 2 most important things for me to finish this swap was my Factory Renix EFI manual and The Factory Electrical t-shooters guide. These are so informative that you will know exactly what signals are flying around and how to work with sensors or around them.
