Purchased a 88 a while back and while over hauling it a bit I came to the conclusion that it has 99-04 4wd f250 front shocks and 99-04 2wd f250 rear shocks. Anyone done this or point me in the direction of this swap? I've searched for a few days and haven't found anything. I very well could be a little on the slow side with the search button here.

I have at same setup in my '88 4 runner with the solid axle swap with leaf spring over. Didn't do it myself either, but I still wheel with the builder. He said when he did it, it was purely a financial decision as the cheapest that had the proper dimensions. I am swapping mine out for the Bilsteins when I have the extra cash and have fixed some of my more pressing issues.

They ride a little rough for my taste but I use mine as a rock crawler and do zero street driving with it.

Are you having an issue with them?
