We usually try not to cut parts for people, just for the fact that if we did, we would then be in competition with our customers. But yes we can cut from a .dxf file, picture, pdf, etc. That's a beast. And here I am wanting to win the free one from you guys.
You're also local to me so I have to ask if you'll cut from a .dxf if I can't win a table.
I spy a string line...do you pics of that thing jigged up? im trying to picture how you put all those sections together and got them in plane with each other

Yes. A tank manufacturer that does some custom roll bending for me once in a while once had a sheet of 1.25" plate that measured something like 12'x80'.Does raw material even come that big?
Squareness is checked by other means.wouldn't the string only get you square or straight in one dimension?
USX Gary Works used to have the largest plate mill in the world....210" wide plate. That was some years ago when I contracted out there. May be bigger now.Does raw material even come that big?
arcelor mittal owns that 210" plate mill now.. i've worked on both the reheat furnaces and the tempering and heat treat lines as well.. i believe the way it went is that US traded mittal the 210" plate mill for the old LTV east chicago tube and tin mill on the south side of dickey rd.USX Gary Works used to have the largest plate mill in the world....210" wide plate.
