Im using 79 front disc rotors from a fullsize ford and 83 chebby front calipers from a k 10. Problem I am having is securing the caliper to the axle housign since its a sliding caliper..... how does one go about making a bracket??? I found some articles here on pirate but they just said what parts to use, nothign about moutning it

thanks

than those just weld to the axle housing...sweet!!! thanks

:edit: funny thing is they say 66-77 calipers with 7" between bolt holes than the 78+ with 5 1/2" bolt hole width. I have 83s and there 7". I don't see how the calipers will be allowed to slid with this bracket though...seems like it will put them at a fixed position???
