The engine block on the passenger side just below and to the rear of the turbo has a additional transmission oil cooler with the engine water
running through it .....has ruptured and NO more new parts are avail. from dealers.

What aftermarket "bolt in" coolers are avail or where can I get the OEM/NOS
cooler?

Note: This is NOT the up front external oil cooler by the radiator.

thanks

go here, http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/index.php

i dunno if ther eis a direct replacement or not. i would by pass the engine mount one anyways because the hot coolant will make the trany fluid temp rise and vice versa.

go with a flex a lite under teh bed style cooler with a fan on it. thats my next plan.

the last time I checked cummins those coolers were like $200~

I think all B series (3.9 and 5.9) share the same cooler, you might check E bay or cummins directly

If the 96 12V is the same come take the one off mine. I converted to a NV4500 from the auto and never bothered to remove the cooler set up.
