#1... I have a 1994 Amigo with the 2.6L F/I motor and a 5 speed trans. When the truck starts up cold its fine idling about 1100-1200. When it warms up it drops to about 800-900 which is normal. After driving for about 5 minutes the idle will drop to around 400 and fluctuate up and down never getting normal again. I found that a good high rev to about 4500rpm for about 3-4 seconds returns the normal idle but the rough idle returns several minutes later. I've had it checked and no intake leak, no bad vacuum lines, EGR is good. Anybody have suggestions BEFORE I take it in and have the vultures start replacing parts??? #2 Question... I've met two other first gen Amigo owners and both trucks had the oil pressure gauge pegged. Mine has it also. Is this a common problem with the o/p switch on the engine or is it more serious?
