Apparently the 8 bolts holding in the rear axle shaft in my 10.25 FF sterling worked themselves loose and eventually sheared off causing me to lose the axle shaft somewhere on my drive home. I tried to drill out the sheared bolts to use an easy out but the drill slipped and I ran it down the threads in two of the holes.

I am having a hell of a time finding replacement hubs online. Does anyone have a source for these or should I start searching the pick n pulls this weekend?

Thanks

I got a replacement Sterling hub at the local boneyard for $20. It's a pretty small joint and there were easily 10-15 donor trucks within spitting distance of the front gate.

Thanks for the suggestions. Went today and there were 12 different trucks all with rear axles still. Got the hub axle shaft and everything in between for $40 out the door.
