can anyone tell me how many lugs a 98 f250 has? i think it is seven lugs and am in an argument over weather they are actually 7 lug or if it is just a cover that has 7 fake lugs and is really 5 lug.

if anyone can tell me and/or has a picture i would greatly appreciate it.

Starting in 97, the light F250 does have a 7 lug pattern...I don't know if this has been changed yet, but they at least did for a few years

You don't say which version, the F-250 LD, or the F-250 HD, that would help more.

Yep... all the low GVW 3/4t trucks and vans get a 7-lug pattern starting with the 97 F250LD. That's the one that looks like a 97-03 F150. Starting in 98 or 99, the F150HD (7800GVW??) also got the 7-lug pattern and the IFS F250 went bye-bye. F250 Super Duties and E250s and F150s will all have the pattern.

To make matters even more confusing, Ford is now using a 6-lug pattern on some of their 2003/4 trucks.
