My tow rig is a 99 4x4 Superduty. Recently I have a pretty load sqeaking sound coming from what sounds like the hubs. Anyone experience these hubs going out? If so is thare an aftermarket kit for a Warn upgrade? I have heard there isnt and that new ones from Ford cost around $400.00:eek:

Any imput would be helpful.

My buddy drives a 99 4wd F350 and has had the hubs replaced about 3 times. I have an '03 F250 and I have already caught the hubs locking up when it was in 2wd. The only "kit" that I know if is Dynarape's kit which completely eliminates the ford outers and replaces them with std ball joint outers..it cost around $1000+ from what I have read.

it's not the locking hub's it's the unitized bearings, they suck, period...

search around over on www.thedieselstop.com about them, there's a few guy's who came up with the replacment bearing number and it was WAY less!

the dynarape kit is not what's advertised, i was going to order it a while back, and found out that it actually cost'a about a grand more than they advertise it for...
