Ok I would like to make my own tie rods for my dana 44 that is going under a 92toy pickup. I have heard of people doing this in the pass but can not find any write ups on it. Is there any one out there that has made there own and if so can you please post up how you went about doing it or a link if someone already has. any help would be awsame thanks..

Well you'll need right and left hand threaded taps of the right size for the Tie-Rod Ends you'll be using then you acquire some tubing that has the same ID as the valleys of your taps cut to the right length, mill slots in the ends to allow clamping pressure, and then you just tap the ends and install

Are you doing a Y-link setup or does your arm have 2 holes in the right side

those are some good ideas. I want to do high streer well because i have the arms now to do it. I think i will go to foothill offroad and see what they have and then maybe the steel yard and see what i can find. im going to try and make these this week and maybe post up how it went. thanks a lot for the input guys..
