when you weld the shakle hanger tube, is it a 1/4" out from the back side or front (facing the side of the truck) thanks,

What part do you not understand;
Taken from AP site;
The tubes should be placed so that the are offset to the outside of the frame by 1/4". Tack weld the tubes in place for now.

offset on the front (towards the engine)or offset on the back (towards the truck bed)

How long is the tube? Remember, if your using a toy axle, the stock spring centers is 29.5". so if you measure from the inside of one tube to the outside of the other tube it should be 29.5". If you go outside to outside, it'll be 29.5"+the length of one tube. Or inside to inside, 29.5"-the length of one tube. If you put a piece of pipe through both tubes, it'll help line you up straight, and get the overhang on the ouside of each tube even.

i got it now.Chris, tried to call the shop but it was busy.ill be talking to you soon about lifting the rear.
one more question,why are a few guys geting a 5" for the rear and a 4"sas for the front?
