when you weld the shakle hanger tube, is it a 1/4" out from the back side or front (facing the side of the truck) thanks,

Taken from AP site;
The tubes should be placed so that the are offset to the outside of the frame by 1/4". Tack weld the tubes in place for now. 

offset on the front (towards the engine)or offset on the back (towards the truck bed)

i got it now.Chris, tried to call the shop but it was busy.ill be talking to you soon about lifting the rear.
one more question,why are a few guys geting a 5" for the rear and a 4"sas for the front?
