This is all cus a punk f*rd guy didn't hook up his trailer lights... So, To make a long story short, I ended up paying for 2 drop-down gates for his trailer, and I'm stuck with the repairs for my truck. I talked with insurance and they said it wasn't my fault, but since I didn't file (I thought it was my fault) I can't get anything. So here's some pics of what happened...
Ok, the bed is from a tree, and so is the passenger's side pillar, but the rest was from the accident.

here is a pic of the bed. The tree just jumped out and tagged it, I SWEAR!

And here is the door.

And this is why I haven't fixed the body yet

Getting 62" nationals or the like soon. Resivoirs also on the way...

Uhh sweet layout on the towel for the IFS Speed Parts and the tree dent.....LOL that aint no stinking dent! Before ya get pissed at me wait till you hear these other guys rip on ya.

Seriously you got away pretty light for rear-ending a trailer. A little rattle can and a Custom Bumper and your good to go.

so are you talking about a lawnmower trailer or a tractor trailer? He is right the bed dents are tiny. The door is almost respectable and I godda know how you got the cowl involved in it all Did you tip your ride or what.
Nice IFS stuff there. this board is anti IFS so we dont care. For almost the same price as the kit from downey (a$$holes) you could have a solid axle setup from J-yard parts, but who am I to critisise? Tel detals on the wreck cuz I don't get how the door was involved or is that the tree too?

So you rear ended a trailer and it was HIS fault because the lights were not working? Judge your distance by looking at what is in front of you. The lights not working just sounds like an excuse for tailgating. How about backing off a bit and give the guy in front of you a little more distance. Sure the guy sould have working lights, but you should be watching where your going.

Man I wish my truck was that "Cherry" Cowl is an easy fix, go buy a new one, door-skin it, I did not see anything wrong with the hood except those two little dents, hell my high lift did that to mine. Bed-Flatbed it or wait tellit is really messed up.

IFS stuff looks pretty good, how much did all that crap cost. But it's still going to be IFS.

Tailgate on e and you see lots of RED. California law. You rearend someone, It's your fault!!!!!

The pillar and bed were from a tree. My front right tire slid because of mud and my truck started to slide. The door is from a different accident where a dirtbike ran into it out at the desert. We heard a bike comming and was going kinda fast,(don't think he knew where he was)started to slow down, and then we heard a big bam! Went to investigate but he started up his bike and took off. Didn't really know what it was until the next morning. The bed isn't that bad at all. The front bumper and hood are a lot worse than the pic shows though. Also, the cowl is from when the hood flew up on the freeway!! I already replaced my windshield wipers.
I was thinking about building a rockcrawler, but I really like to go fast! I'm also on The Outlaw race team, so when we cruise to races I want to be able to be useable. The whole IFS kit, everything in the pics was like $850. Damn good, considering those arms alone are $1300!
Why bash a toyota? No matter what kind of suspension it has. It's not like there are so many of us that we need to be making enemies...
As for the accident, it was dark, and the guy just sped up and then slammed on his brakes. I couldn't even see the taillights on his truck. It was a good size landscaper's trailer. I'm just replacing the cowl, door skin, windshield molding, and getting fiberglass, so my bed will be for sale soon.
The alignment is bad right now, but the tire wear isn't from this misalignment, but I'm gonna need an alignment after sunday anyway, so why waste $$.

If you are too busy to care, then why do you bother to worry about my suspension. I don't care if you have straight axle, IFS, 4-Link, or rubber-fuckin' bands on your rig, If you have fun wheelin, what does it matter? I already have a bunch of Rockstomper stuff, selling it cus I don't rock crawl enough.

Hey I feel for you!! the guy should have had trailer lights..

Don't lesson to these narrow minded a-holes... Your IFS junk looks awesome.. even though there right that would have been a big down towards a solid "to each his own".. I like rock crawlin and going fast...

But for my current truck rock cawlin is winning the battle and the sheet metal..

For more info on prerunning and fast wheelin you might want to check some other boards for more info.. These guys are two narrow minded sometimes.. They think they are the only ones who offroad and push there trucks

More power too you!

P.S. Leave the dents they give it charactor!!!

The thing is, I've been comming to this board for for a year and a half, and I enjoy looking at all kinds of toyota trucks. I would actually like to have a rockcrawler, and a pre-runner, but I'm still going to school and have a full-time girl. If only I have more $$, I'd have a truck pre-runner, a 4Runner rockcrawler, and a 98 twin turbo supra. Someday...but until then, I'll continue to be amased by all off-road toyotas.

Skytone- Don't bother about getting back to me about the cowl, I'll find another one.
