Did some searching, but couldnt find a definate answer. I would like to run 15-10" rims, with 4.25" backspacing. But someone told me you would have to grind too much off the caliper. I can always run 16's, but really don't want to. And the 2-3" backspaced rims pull me out too far. Can I grind enough off for these 4.25" bs rims to fit? Thanks, Dennis

I have 3.5BS on 14ff with discs. Needed about 1/8th of an inch off only the top where casting mold has a seem that looks like the factory had already ground some off. I think my rims are thin guage steel though(procomp shit).

What front axle are you running? It will take far less grinding than any 8 lug front.

I have 15x10 Eatons (thick and heavy) with 3.5" BS and only had to remove the casting flash on the caliper.
