Since I'm planning on running 38s or 39.5s when I buy new rubber, I'm trying to plan out my steering upgrades. My stock system is seriously tired and overtaxed by the worn out 38's I've got now. I've looked at AGR's PS pump upgrade and their upgraded steering box, but what really caught my eye was the RockRam system. The fact their ram acts as steering assist and stabilizer really sounds nice.

Has anyone here had experience with this system or is currently running it? At $800 plus it's pricey, but it might be worth it for lower speed maneuvering. I'd also want to retain decent streetability since I'll be driving this rig some distances to wheel.

Any info would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

Ram assist steering is good, but if you do a search you'll find that AGR has a bad rep.
??? Ive heard alot of good abotu them except the price, everyone brags on WTOs customer service, but I know a slew of people who have to have theirs rebuilt multiple times a year. Who cares if you have good service if you have a crappy product

Go West Texas. $450 for the ram and lines, modify and rebuild your box and modify you pump innards. Be sure to run a reservoir(mine is off a mid 80's chevy van with remote fill) and a COOLER. The rams generate a lot of heat. It's nice to steer. You do have or are doing crossover, right? By the way, they are a sponsor of our Four Dice Trail clean up on the Fordyce trail so give 'em some business. Matt is a totally cool guy and will give you all the tech support you need.
