Tim at All Pro Fab built this rig. This is his rig. Here are a few pics to share with the PBB crowd. Comments are welcome, good or bad!!


the components are:

97 TJ
4.0 w/stainless exhaust into a flowmaster
5 speed into Atlas II 4.3
Unimog 404 axles w/cable lockers
Full hydro steering from Station
High Steer Arms from Weps
Discs at all corners, 4 piston Wilwood calipers, 13" rotors
Link suspension with coils
King 2.5" shocks with res
Warn 9.5 Ti winch
16.5 TR Beadlocks w/ 42" TSL tires

NICE! Just curious why coils and not coilovers? Cost, clearance?

This rig is close to complete. the drivetrain was first and now the interior and other minor details will be worked out.

Tim has always run this set up and it works well for him. either can be run and it wouldnt be hard to change but this works for now.

It looks like a 3-link (wishbone) triangulated rear. Shouldn't the bolt be placed in a vertical fashion. Instead of horizontal.

Nice job! I wish I had all the fancy tools at my disposal to make the ultra cool caliper brackets - definitely sexier than mine.:( What bolt pattern did they use and whos hubs?

the bolt pattern is stock Unimog. The hubs are stock Unimog. The brakes are 13" rotors that Tim machined for this rig. The calipers are 4-piston Wilwood.
