The Cv's have burn marks where the ball bearings are. I know this could be from machining, but I'm still unsure, would you put these in your rig?

They don't have the rotational play of a bad CV. They do have some wear, doesn't seem significant, but I'm not sure if that wear was over the last 50 miles the truck drove orrr over 150,000 miles it could have drove... Its from an 80 series Land Cruiser.

If they don't have any rotational play I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just dissasemble them for cleaning and pack with fresh grease.

Try holding the cv near it's max angle and rotating it to check for any binding.

Sweet baby jesus, thanks. I was only concerned because the diff that came out of it had a trashed R&P. So I was hoping the CV's were also not neglected. That makes my axle swap much cheaper :D
