Well, I'm getting mixed responses from the "professionals" on this one... I'm being told that the VSS signal has to be derived from tranny output (prior to the gear reduction of the T-cases)... I would think that pulling it from the speedo output on the last T-case would better reflect actual vehicle speed. I've searched and seen it done both ways with no ill response on either... Long and the short of it is... I don't have the time to screw with fitting up a reluctor and boss for the VSS in the TH350... I'm sending the ECM off for tweaking tomorrow, so... VSS behind 2.28x4.7 or delete the VSS from the ECM???

Strictly a trail vehicle here... No emissions... No speedo... Etc... 2002 4.3

The VSS needs to get its reading from the final tcase. In other words, the reading should be pretty close to the driveshaft. This will give proper reading to the computer.
