Looking to buy a used 4 seater.

Did the Rhinos come stock with a back seat, or all they all after market add ons? Any stability or safety issues? I heard a rumor that they weren't allowed in some state parks due to safety issues.

What else? Razor or Teryx? Viking? Pros and cons?

Looking to keep the price below $9,000 and the kiddies safe.

What are you wanting to do with it?

It could run anywhere from a 6 seater diesel Mule to run around the farm, to a RZR XP1K-4 (not less than 9k though) to compete in the family series at KOH (if they had one :homer: ).

RZR-4 800 is a bit underpowered to me and still over your $9k budget. RZR XP4 would be a lot better, but more expensive and way over budget.

Tyrex might be your best bet overall. Dunno on price though.

and I'll add...do NOT buy a homemade conversion to 4 seat. The machine isn't designed for it, and in a growing number of states..it's illegal.

I've been 4 seat shopping quite a bit, really there are 5 options:
Rhino Clone (mixed reviews, some love some hate, quality only issues)

Teryx4, short wheel base but very minimal storage and no dump body

Mule, really just utility, no real sport

Polaris, Ranger and RZR, ranger more utility RZR full sport

Canam, Commander or Maverick, Maverick is more like the RZR where the
commander is more utility, but much more sport than the Ranger line

I love the Canams, they are just LONG wheelbase wise for east coast, if I were west coast I would already own one.

I know Lance's Teryx is stout...I'm impressed with their 4 seater.

I think the overwhelming issue...is budget. Pretty hard to get a nearly 20K unit new, for 9k unless it's really been pummeled.

With a 9K budget I would say buy any 4 seater you can find. The market isn't exactly flooded with cheap machines...
