Before i make the severe grind on my d60's(snowfighter & hd 60 )i would like to know if there will be any problems with 'spreading' them for gear set-up.i know 20 thousandths is'nt much for a maximum spread , but just wanted to check out beforehand if anyone has had problems. thanks......JJ

More fun to keep your rig low and not muck up your COG in my opinion. Shave it and get bigger tires if you want to, cut the body off. :)

Yes Kris,I whole-heartedly agree! thats why I'm gonna do the shave and run 37's. Thats plenty for me! I just want to know if there is a problem with stressing (the housing) that I should be worried about, it'll be a shame to get that far, and hafta fix the axle housing again. ...Anybody?

um a regearing usually requires a full reset of the backlash to do it right, as does a new carrier, spool, locker, etc...:shaking:


most of the time you dont ever need a case spreader. I wouldnt even use it unless you absolutely had to. so go ahead, shave the shit out of it.
