I'll be there all day Sat. Camped there last year but don't want to listen to nitrous injected engines screaming by my tent all night again See ya there? I'll be in a black '92 Toyota pickup with 32x11.50 BFG muds and some surf stickers on the back window.

NO WAY!! I'm not camping there again! J/K It wasn't that bad. I'm just gonna make a day of it, not sure if other rigs are coming with me yet or not. It may just be me and my friend in my truck (stock susp., riding on 32x11.50's). How built are your rigs? If you wanna meet up that'd be cool. I just remembered I know a guy with a mildly built Tacoma, I'll see if he wants to come, then you could pit your tacomas against each other Anyway, see you there.

My Tacoma is very mild IMO.. Rear locker 33's and some protection... It does the job though.. There's a few other taco's coming with that have simular setups... A few guys are running with less and will be taking the by passes..

I never know where were gonna camp until we get there!

If you wanna come by and take a break come on by!

One way to spot my tacoma. it's white with a big American Flag flying proud off my 6ft CB anttena in my bed... it's also ridding on MTR's if that helps!!

We will probally have anywhere between 15-20 trucks/dune buggys/what evers in our camp.. Were a little small this year but there should be 2 Motor homes...

Like I said If you wanna camp your welcome too.. You can't miss my truck it will have a huge flag on top!
See you there!

See ya there I'd love to go with you guys on the trail too, I'll see if I can find you when I get there Saturday morning. BTW, what time does the run start sat. morning, and what time do they close the starting line for the poker run?

Mine was the dark blue one with the sleeper cab on it. Did run doors though. No sleeper cab this year - just a rear seat in the be (kid sytle) and rear exo cage.
Not going to the Hammers on Sunday - going to Off Road Expo instead.
As for a Taco w/IFS on the Hammers - would not reccomend it. Maybe with a locker, winch, second vehicle and no regard for side damage you could do Claw. I would never consider taking the 86 4rnr on the Hammers.
See you out there - stop bye if we are at camp and have some

Yeah I think I rember that truck too white extra cabby thiggy..

No taco on the hammers.. I have been told that since I started 4wheelin about everytrail.. I do realize that the Hammers are the hammers.. I think this round I'll be watching. I don't want to get in anyone's way... My taco is locker in the rear.. Body damage does concern me but I don't know if it would stop me..

I look for your truck and I'll take you up on the offer if I find you... My truck will be easy to see I'll have a RED,WHITE & blue flying proud out of the back..

Off road expo...BBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Long story!

We also went over to the hammers the next day and checked out Jack hammer and watched a jeep make it's way up till it broke a dana 44 front axle..

Pretty cool trail.. I think after I get a winch I'll try that trail with my truck... I guess thats one of he more easier trails there.. I hope soo.. I wanted to see the others but time was running out..

Anyways.. If you want to meet up again were having a Joshua Tree run in Nov off Sunfair road.. just past Jtree..

Take care!

Likewise. Good meeting you and the crew. Went camp cruisin' Sat night but did not make it over to Camp "Taco".

For anyone who had not seen a new Taco on the trails, this was it. These drivers/truck kicked some butt. No, it was not Hammers but a few sections were not easy. Most impressive was you friend with the siver 4door - rocker gashes, bed dents, bent rear bumper, scratches - and his opinion is 'that what I bought it for" Gotta like that.

Decided to bail on Off Road Expo - especially after hearing of the air raids. Was going to run down and watch the Hammering but with the quad in the back it was just a PIA. Gonna be out there this coming weekend

Yah, sign me up for some runs out at Sunfair. Since I live in YV, it is just in my back yard. Have done Claw, and with a winch you may be able to do that trail.

Desert toys 'truggy' was incredible - very nice piece of equipment.

The guy with the silver truck is Craig, He's really cool! I met him in big bear..He's not afraid of using his truck...

I don't know why I have been so lucky with mine.. I have never shyed away from a trail, and most of my dents are small and not noticable! I begging to think I need to start hitting stuff, so my truck looks more used..lol..

Did you see that part of the trail that said jeep squeez?? I was second to back and my friend with the bronco was in front of me. I saw hiom trying to go around it.. I told him get bak and line and try it!! I told him if he did it I would damage or not..

He made it threw putting some new scrathes on his bronco.. I went threw and cleared by no more than a half an inch wih 2 guys pushing on my roof so i wouldn't hit.. The silver dcab made it threw also no damage..

We meant to go back and change the sign to Toyota's only.. but we were in a hurry...

The Jtree run off sunfair is Nov 17th weekend.. there will probally be between 30-40 trucks that weekend!! e-mail me and I'll give you directions..
