I am thinking about running 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers on a 15" wheel. I searched but didn't get any detailed reviews or anything on them. Anyone have experience with them? How are they on and off road?

OR would I be better off just getting MT/R's?

Dont have much experience with the mud graplers but i do have alot of experience with Nito tires and from my experience they make a very good tire and they moniter the quality very closley. They also stand behind there tires very well very little hassel if you need warranty. I have some experience with the Mtr and they seem to be fairly loud on the street and require alot of attention to psi and rotation to get them to wear evenly. Also I think Toyo and Nito are the same company and if this is true I have first hand knowledge of the Toyo Mtr and the wear very. Just my 0.02$ :grinpimp:

I contacted them a while back regarding supplying tires for a review - I was wanting to look at how 22" rims and tires would perform, and they were one of only 2 manufacturers with a 22" tire. I felt the tire looked like it had potential. They showed initial interest, but when I explained the paces iId put the tire through they decided to back out and told me the tire wasn't really for off-road but was more for the show-truck crowd.

I don't know if that was specific to the 22" tire only though.

In the latest Moab pictures and such, I see the Currie Rig is running the Mud Grapplers. I don't know if it is by choice or just an advertisement thing. They seem to have potential to me also. Also if alot of Mall Crawlers use them on the blingin' 20's they SHOULD get decent wear. Only other thing I have heard about them is that they are really loud, but who cares. :D
I wanna know how they do offroad!? They couldn't be that bad.

I know for the longest time the smallest wheel size avail. was 18" and recently they came out with some new 17" wheel sizes...do they have 15" sizes now as well now?

Yeah they have em down to 15" rim. The price listings in all the magazines say its a 35x14.50x15 tires, but I found some 35x12.50's I think  if they only come in 14.50 I'd have to get new rims which would suck!
