I am looking to build some dummy axles until I can get out to pick some up this spring and I need to know the diameter of the round third member , both a bolt center and outer flange edge measurement would do nicely - (front to back and side to side) Thanks

IIRC they are pretty close to round (if not round) right... That level of precision should work for now... Thanks I just want to start the chassis work on the willys and need to have a rough idea of how much room to leave for the oil pan and other bits up front...

There is one on a fire truck converted M-35 not too far from here so I can get more precise later if need be, just needed to map out the measurements for the dummy axle...
