front is SUA aka built in lift. rear is SOA aka no real lift. I have thought about front waggs on all four courners. I love them in front. 18 inches of travel. 9 up and 9 down

Rear is SOA with tension shackles aka built in lift, aka arched springs. Rear wagoneer springs should work good.

skyetone, Don't run the same spring front and rear.
It will cause what is called "porpoising".
The truck will start to oscillate up and down going down the road because the springs have the same frequancy. Trust me on this one....

Question, not a flame, but what about the guys that run rear toys all around? And if you removed, or added, one leaf, would this still happen? What about different shocks front/rear? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Yes, adding or subtracting a leaf will help.
When the front and rear springs start "springing" at the same frequency in opposite directions, they will overpower the shocks ability to control them. It is why Jeep wranglers have 5 leaves in the rear and 4 in front even though they have almost 50/50 weight bias. having differnt spring rates front and rear help them to cancel each other out.

I get jipped all around man issed: my all-pro only do 14 inches of travel and my buggy does 5. I feel jipped. My pack is stock outa a waggon but don't think there is any difference. I seem to get more lift than alot of people though.5 inches. most report 3-4 so i dunno. I just wanna play with it so maybee it will all settle in.

I think that means that the shackle is above the shackle hanger, it goes up to the spring eye. It's the same way on most fullsize pickups.

...PCE here , but I bet that at least a small chunk of that extra travel is from the extra weight (and slight width?) of DSI's 36x12.5 SX's as compared to your (looks like) 35x12.5 BFG's??

ya he's got 7 leaf's front and i'm not sure of the spring count in teh rear, but they are rear springs off a waggie, they're installed backwards so there's less overhang and he's got a buggy spring on them, and it's not real long... 20in or so? it flexes great and sits level with a 1in block i think?

so I really don't think that the tires are gonna acount for an extra 5 inches of travel ya know. so how much difference in height is there in stock wagg F&R aplications? at least 3 inches cuz of SOA and SUA. If the shackle pointing upward as on fullsize is the static deal than maybee not that much. What differences in lenth is there from stock od toy rears to stock wagg rears? Is the rancho rears any good? get like stock wagg front and a 3 wagg rear and you are even? same as with 44044's 3 and 5? I think I will get the paper I made for I think DRM's page and me and archives under dpring lenths cuz it has all these measurements. It's just that it is 1:45am here and it is downstairs

Ok stock toy rear 80-88 48" 20.5/27.5
stock toy rear 89-95 51" 21.5/29.5
wagg rear soa 1976-? 6leaf 57" 26/31
wagg front sua 1976 6leaf 48" 24/24
ok stock wagg fronts rear aplication on a 80-88 toyota would go kinda like this
move the shackle forward 3.5 inches with no lift issues move front mount 3.5 inches forward plus maybee 1inch drop.Good for a bobbed bed, bad for longbeds with a tire on say the tailgate cuz no spring support for the weight.
rears on rear 80-88 would be
move front mount 5.5 inches forward plus maybee 2 inches in drop. rear mount goes rearward 3.5 with no lift issues. Bad for bobbes cuz of frame room. great for people with lots o' junk in the bed. the one prob is with it being a soa already I don't see much lift being gained by just the springs. But chevs don't eather and people just won't shut up about em.
Maybee run stock waggs everywhere, dropped mount in the front and a hella long shackle or block in the rear(aka supplimental lift) just food for thought
for more spring shtuff

people harp bout chevy's cause they work. they give about 3-3.5 inches of lift too. i've got an adda leaf in my pack too, and am sittin on 120$ TOTAL spent on rear suspension that works better than your allpro/ buggy concoction. i've heard so much about your rear flex woes. why not sell the allpro's and put on chevy's?? you won't regret it. later man----brad
