I have my daughter until Sun. and want to take her on her first mild wheelin', fishin' picnic trip to Fordyce. If I get off at Cisco Grove off I 80, and take the road past the 4-H campground and stay on that road, I will get to Fordyce. Correct?

It's been a while since I was there and want to make sure.

Correct, that will get you to the cut out or "committee" crossing on Fordyce. But you need to remember to stay right at the top of the hill and take the left at the lake.

I think he means just take the forest service roads to the lake to fish. If so, do not start at eagle. Cisco has signs that will get you there. Fishing is pretty good right now. Pick up a FS map. Time to the lake is maybe 40 mins this way. Starting at eagle takes most of a day, and is by no means "mild wheeling". Have fun and don't make a big idiotic fire like the guys I saw at Pierce campground last weekend.
