On Sunday I yanked my 4 speed tranny and transfer case out of my 77 fj40 and installed my th350 and my atlas. I was trying to clock my atlas to make it as flat as possible. There are a couple interference issues. 1) Tranny fluid pan 2) crossmember to support the atlas (mounts right in front of the atlas with the AA adapter). Does anybody have any experience with this. Is it possible to make the Cruiser flat?

mine has a sm465 and is at the located on the thrid hole down. I have drive shaft issues around the bellhousing when I fully stuff the front axle, or I would have rotated it up more.
I stuck it in and out at every position it would physically fit until I found the highest position without interference
