Does anyone have any experience with Atlas Springs? I'm thinking about ordering some 8" lift rear springs for my Bronco. I would go with National Springs, but I'm on a deadline, and the Nationals would cost around $900, and the Atlas' would cost $444. Are they really stiff, better suited for show trucks? Thanks

Paying $800 or $900 for leaf spring is rediculous. You could buy 2 coil over shocks w/springs for that price.

do you mean ALCAN?
if not disregard this, ive just never heard of atlas springs.

ive ran them for a couple years, i personally think they are awesome. i ran a 6in spring designed with +350lbs in mind for cargo in the rear. they ride comfortably, yet very controlled.
one of the best things i did for the ride was to replace the poly bushing they came with to stock rubber.
they took a couple good flexes to get them broken in a flexing like they should be.
they are also very beefy, the pack for the XJ is pretty thick.
overall id recommend an Alcan spring very highly, and it sounds like itll be a little better priced than the nationals.
hope that helps
