I finaly received my Aussie locker for my 2001 Tj, I got the front for my dana 30. I know It's not the stongest axle. But it's what I wanted for my application. So, Installation was simple. Took about 2and 1/2 hours.

I'm very impressed with the quality and perfromance. I only hear it clicking when I have the radio off and the windows off in a Quite parking lot.
I can't tell it is there in normal driving, I can feel it every once in awhile turning a corner with bumps on it and I get the steering wheel to tighen up.
Nothing bad just NEW. The offroad performance is great, When you carry a wheel you can see it still spinning and so it the other one.

I must say if your looking for a little more traction for 250.00 shipped to my door it's a great deal.

Sorry, I'll try to keep my informative replys to my self in the future, I keep forgetting everybody on this board knows everthing about wheeling and that we as already wheelers should not care about the un-informed new orr-roaders.

and I've been around the lock right's there ok but I wanted to try something new, I've only hear good things about the aussie.

#3. make all the fun you want, I tried to find information about the aussie and came up with just the write up in the tech section. Just giving you my 2 cents worth. Your flaming is just being wasted, I didn't post this for the already great Oh, god like people who know everhting. If any body has any Questions about installing one of these PM Me and I'll try to help.
#4. Aussie did not include any " I love you note" But is did have a Sticker, The instructions did not cover everthing and you may need a service manual for some extra info.

You can turn your windows off? Shit, I have to roll mine down. You should do a write up on that mod. :flipoff2:
Just find where your computer power is plugged in and unplug it... Windows turned off

Better yet, reboot it and install Linux- no more Windows

Installing a lunch box locker is as easy as making a fawkin sandwich.

First I had to go and gather ingredients. So I went and got some bread..

...peanut butter..

..and jelly...

..and of course a knife to spread the peanut butter and jelly. i like this one because I can use one blade for the peanut butter, and one for the jelly. If I am making two sandwiches with different flavors of jelly, I can use the third blade for the second flavor so there is no mixing.

Now for assembly. As you can see, I put the peanut butter on one piece of bread, and the jelly on the other. If I were making these to be packed for a day of wheeling, I'd put the peanut butter on both pieces of bread and then put the jelly on top so that it doesn't soak through the bread.

After that you put the two pieces together so that the peanut butter and jelly are facing each other. I got hungy and ate it, so there's no pic of this step.

Tune in next week, and I'll show you how to toast the bread so that you can have a warm PB&J sandwich!

The review of it is fine. I always like feedback on products that are fairly new. But people on this board should be able to handle that kind of install no problem and should already know the basics. Might want to read the post at the top of the Jeep page. geez how many times do we have to go through this?

I got one of those D30 Aussie Lockers, too, and put it in recently. I am pretty satisfied with the product, after beating it thoroughly last weekend. What I was not satisfied with was the waiting list. I got the D30 in about three weeks, but I waited for several months for a D44 locker, and ended up getting pissed off and canceling the order and doing something different instead. Bill doesn't charge your card until he ships the item, that's ok. He ought to be more upfront on the website about the availability of these things, though. I didn't anticipate waiting four months for nothing then buying my shit somewhere else anyway.

Sorry to disappoint all of you guys, I am not gonna flame on the dude.

So how do I set the backlash between the peanut butter and jelly properly? I tried my dial indicator but it just got gunked up and stopped working - Last time I tried making a P&B sandwich without measuring it the sandwich spontanteously self combusted and burned down :(
