Hello all
got 116k on 98 tj 2.5l I am getting this weird noise when the jeep is in neutral. Sounds like a swirling sound, step on the clutch and it all goes away, let off and that swirling sound comes back,, soo here my question I plan putting in a master clutch kit,,, but what do you all think about the slave cylinder.. I could be the whole master and slave in one unit but its $$$$ or just get the slave and bleed it??? How do you know when the slave is going bad?

if it shifts and drives fine with just this noise in neutral with clutch out i might think about it a bit more. i usually buy the master and slave, pre-bled system as a "kit". not too expensive if i recall correctly.
