ax5 internal clutch slave

I would say lack of care in it's install are you somehow damageing the boot or the hardline connection.

I've only seen 2 ever go out and they both had 120,xxx miles.

Yeah I thought that too since the first one I had a "friend" help me with it, so when the next one went out, I enlisted a reputable tranny shop to do it. Then after that one went out, I went to a truck shop that has done numberous and excellent work for us in the past. The only thing I can think of is that since I let it sit for about a year, that the seals might have dried out. But it worked fine for the entire weekend till the trip home. But thanks for the reply
