Get steel ones, the aluminum ones have a tendency to break. Also tack weld (big tack) to the spring perches. I have seen them get spit out when climbing, taking the spring center bolt head with them. Makes for some interesting pinion angles and u-joint breaks, and u-bolt breaks at the wrong time (is here every a right time).

I got shims from 4WPW once, cast aluminum, limited angles (3 and 6 degrees as I recall). They didn't break on me, but now I make my own out of steel.
