Hey all,

Guess what? Supra LSD diffs have oh so slightly less depth for the front axle shaft to slide into... maybe 1mm. When torquing down the spindle bolts things get a teensy bit tight. It will still turn, but I'm worried it may place a 'pushing type' stress on the BF Joint. Yes, I have inspected everything else to insure that something else has not created some extra length.

Can anyone see a problem grinding a slight bit off the end of the axle shaft in order to gain the clearance? I'm thinking the surface which is ground may develope some stress areas - though it is at the very end where I suppose little load is placed.

One benefit may be no clip in the CV joint and no tack on the inner shaft. Everything will stay in place on its own.
