Trying to fig out if this axle is a dana 44 or a 10 bolt. I'm pretty sure it's a dana it has a 44-8f stamped on it and some other numbers I cannot read. Came off of a jeep but was told they where chevy axles. I know my rear is a 14bolt full float 8 lug

10 bolts hold the ring on

That is a 44. 10 bolt has a more rounded cover.

And the dead give away of a ten bolt is those triangle ear things on the bottom, you can spot those on a truck going the opposite way on the freeway.
