Ok... Please dont bash me about not going to Jesse at Highangle Driveline. I have one of his front driveshafts and its first class. But... if your looking to have a driveshaft repaired fast and you need quality work. I highly recommend Drive Line servieces of Phoenix.

I just installed my retubed drive shaft from Drive Line services of Phoenix. Its the place that 4 Wheelers uses. Anyway... this is my 4th time retubing my rear shaft... and its the best time. The Driveshaft feels like it did when it was stock. Ther are no vibes at any speed.

When it comes to drive shaft repair, this is the place. Ive been to Dicks and Arizona Driveshaft in phoenix. And this place is far superior... they are friendly, they listen to what your problems is, they help you find a solution, they charge what they quote, they are fast, the shop is well organized and very clean, and their products are first class. My shaft was cleaned and came with a nice paint job. Not some shitty paint job over the grease! Not that paint matters... it just goes to show they pay attention to detail.

I highly recomment using this place!

Ronn,
Why have you had to have yours retubed 4 times? All of ours are beat to shit and we've never had them retubed.
Well Pat...

One time when I bent it on Predator when I was out wiht you, Once when I bent it on Sycamore creek, once when it was retubed when I installed the crawler, and then I damaged it this weekend.

Its because I get cheap, and everytime I have bent the tube I have went down and got the stock wall thickness. Im not sure what thickness it is, but I know its under 95 wall because that is what Jesse at highangle uses on his shafts, and that is what is on my front shaft.

So this time I had them machine the ends to accept 125 wall tubing. Its alot beefier then what it was before. Not bullet proof... but Im sure it will withstand alot more abuse.

So... the answer to your question is, "I was being cheap!" :)

That explains it. Mine's .188, blew out a CV but nothing else.

You or any of your Crapoma:flipoff2, ooh I mean Tacoma, buddies doing Log Corral this weekend? Should be fun even if you don't stay. I have a couple guys coming from work that aren't staying the night.:nuke: :
Hey now... why does it have to be a crapoma? :(

I might come out... It depends on if I finish painting the inside of my kitchen during the week.

PAINTING SUCKS!

But I will try like a mutha to get out there.

agree Northpole.....Popeyes rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....KFC is OK.

Yogi---what did they charge for the retube all together? I assume they also balanced it afterwards? I was thinking of getting mine re-tubed maybe similar to Pat's and do the 188 route. If they do as good a job on mine as yours then I will post my results.
It was $118 to machine the ends to fit the .125 tube, the tube itself, and to balance it. good price if you ask me! :)
