I'm buying new wheels. I have a decision on my backspacing. I have heard stock is like 3.75. I was thinking of geting 2.5-3. What spacing do you run? I have an 83 would 2.5 spacing with 35-12.5's stick out to far. With 33-12.5's on 15x9's they are 2inch outside of the fenders. I don't know the back spacing on the current wheels but they almost hit the tierod end. Thanks

here's my 85 4runner wiht 15x8 inch rims 3 inch back spacing, and 32x11.5 inch tires...
<IMG width=640 height=480 SRC="http://www.pirate4x4.com/ubb/uploads/dsc_137.jpg"> they stick out slightly, friend has same size rim with 35x12.5's with stock backspacing, mine stick out about 1 inch farther... even with his wider tire.

Wider is better! I'd go with 2".

Thanks for the input I'm leaning to the 2.5's.
Vova-what spacing are you running with your 36's? Your truck does not look to wide.
Tin Bender-any pics of your runner? What size tire are you running?
How do wheel bearings hold up?
Any other cons to more back spacing?

American Tire ordered them for $45 a piece. Thats 10 extra for special offsets. You can get 2.25-7". Call Folsom and ask for Gary.
