Hi all!!

This is an official invitaion for anyone who would like to attend the first annual "ICBM" (I Cruised Barnwell Mountain)

We are hoping to gather as many Toyota vehicles as we can for this first ever gathering to see all the Cruisers and Mini's in the area.

For those of you that don't know, Barnwell Mountain is a Texas Motorized Trails Coalition property that offers trails from mild to wild.

Food and camping are available on site and there are two hotels in the town of Gilmer:

Gilmer Inn 903.843.3033
Ramada Inn 903.843.6099

If you have a trail truck or a restoration project, just come over and look at the Toyotas.

Check out: http://texasmotorizedtrails.com/ohvareas/index.html for all the information you need on directions, user fees and trails.

Keep an eye on the Lone Star Land Cruiser site LSLC.ORG for up to date information as we draw nearer.

Come one come all!!

Why aren't you guys running the SWFWD winter quarterly up in Clayton on the same weekend? Only another 1-1.5 hours for more challenging trails. Is it cost, crowds, what?

Going to try a new rad and go from there
Need to see how it will do in Gilmer

Hope to see you there

Holy Crap! The clayton run costs $75 <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> I remember going a couple years back for like $30...wow...

I'd like to try to make one run or the other...Maybe I can make it to Gilmer, since I've been to Clayton before...

I think there is a $15 a day usage fee at Barnwell, other than that, it is free. Just a get-together.

I have reserved the "Old Camp" campground for our group, so that will be the official meet and greet area.

Nolen, you aren't even going to support the SWFWDA Fall Quarterly in Clayton, Ok that SAME weekend? Cheap ass basstard! I'd be down with BMRA run in Gilmer most any other weekend.

I'm out though. I've spent way too much time and energy on the food, raffle, and shirts for the Oktober Trailfest event

The run may have been $30 about 5 years back, but it's never been near that low for the past 4 years that I've been involved.

Lance,

This was the only weekend I could get my group together.

Hell, I am the biggest fan of Clayton there is, I just like it all to myself!

Organized runs ruin it for me.

However, i will say that no one organized a run like FWD.

I especially like the "Guaranntee Off the Mountain". That is first class!

There are plenty of wheelers to go around, we should both have good turnouts.

Why don't you come over the weekend before and show me around a little on Saturday.

I've got to meet up with Ron Vanderslice from Ramsey to pick up one of the winches for the Trailfest raffle. This is up in Clayton the week before our event. He'll be up there for the Sam's Novice Run that weekend.

Enjoy the BMRA run. I used to get junk from the LSLC mailing list, but I guess I got dropped. All you cruiser heads hate me :)
